The sheet of music is empty, cold and lifeless. With my pen I’m inscribing the paper with characters, imprints, which look like wounds and scars.
Old and time-worn elements are dismantled and freshly re-assembled. Fear of the number 13?
I use 13 in rhythms and forms (2+2+3+2+4; 3+3+3+4; …6+7) – at 6+7, an old acquaintance knocks at the door… fate?(Bernhard Gander, 2016)
