Duri Bischoff, Stagedesign

Duri Bischoff was born 1971 in Zurich, but grew up in Chur. He designed performance spaces for productions at the theatres in Berne and Basle, at the Salzburg Festival and the Vienna Festwochen. From 2000 to 2003 he held the position of assistant set designer at the Schauspielhaus Zürich. Amongst his most recent works are productions of "Three Sisters" and "Menschsein macht müde" ('It's tiring to be Human') at the Schauspielhaus Zürich and "Schutz vor der Zukunft" ('Protection against the Future') for the Vienna Festwochen. He has worked with directors such as Stefan Pucher, Clemens Sienknecht, Anna Mahler and, repeatedly, with Christoph Marthaler.
