Richard Zook, Tenor

Born and educated in the United States, Richard Zook has lived in The Netherlands for many years now.

Richard is a vocalist by profession, although he is also an experienced accompanist, organist and choir director. His singing career has covered a wide spectrum of music genres, periods and styles. On the concert podium he has had an emphasis on the works of Bach. But he also has operatic and theatrical experience, including performances in works for children. Most recently he performed the roles of Banquo and Banquo’s ghost in Sciarrino’s opera Macbeth, which premiered in the Schwetzingen Festival and toured in Graz, Paris, Frankfurt and in New York’s Lincoln Center Festival.
