
Hélène Fauchère, Soprano
Hélène Fauchère started her musical education in Nevers where she first studied the flute and later trained to become a singer. After studies with Gäel de Kerret she became a member of Fusako Kondo's class at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional in Paris where she was awarded a first prize in 2007.
At present, she continues her vocal studies with Malcolm King and Howard Crook, who instructed her in the interpretation of early music. Early on, Fauchère has shown an interest in chamber music; for the last six years she has performed with students of the Quatuor Ysaÿe and she is now working with the Ensemble Solistes XXI, conducted by Rachid Safir. At the same time, she has obtained her Master's Degree in Music Research at the Université Sorbonne and was awarded special honours in the subjects History of Music, Musical Analysis and Instrumentation/Orchestral Accompaniement in the class of Corinne Schneider and Alain Louvier.
