Lukas Schiske, perccusion
Born in Vienna in 1962.
Lukas Schiske trained as a percussionist at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, later specialising in Modern Music.
He has been a member of Klangforum Wien since the founding of the ensemble in 1985. He has worked together with various ensembles and orchestras with varying musical styles, including; Die Reihe, Kontrapunkte, Munich Barock Ensemble, Barockorchester Sol sol la sol, Wiener Symphoniker, ORF-Sinfonieorchester, Wiener Staatsopernorchester, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
He has also worked in wider areas such as jazz, rock and theatre and participated as a soloist in well-known music festivals at home and abroad.
He has made numerous television, radio and CD recordings.
