
Florian Müller, piano
Florian Müller, born in Immenstadt, Germany, studied piano and composition in Munich and Vienna. He is one of the central interpreters of contemporary music in Austria and has appeared as a soloist at such important festivals as Wien Modern and the Salzburger Festspiele.
As a member of Klangforum Wien he is a regular performer at international festivals in Europe, and in addition to this, has toured in the USA, Canada, Japan and Israel.
Florian Müller has worked upon many CD productions, of particular note are those for the Grand Prix du disque Academie Charles Cros, which include the outstanding recording of the complete works of Jean Barraqués with the conductors Sylvain Cambreling and Jürg Wyttenbach as well as Beat Furrer’s "Nuun" for two pianos and ensemble with Peter Eötvös, both of which were praised by the German record critics.
Florian Müller has been a member of Klangforum Wien since 1992.
