Gunde Jäch-Micko, Violine
Born in Vienna in 1966. She started her musical studies at the age of five. From 1978 she studied at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts with Michael Frischenschlager, from 1987 with Ernst Kovacic and with Gerhard Schulz 1990 to 1991. She received her concert diploma in 1990.
For many years she studied the baroque-violin. She won prizes at the Austrian “Young Musician” competition several times as well as several international violin competitions. Gunde Jäch-Micko has performed as a violinist in Austria and many foreign countries and has made many recordings for the radio.
She has been a member of the Klangforum Wien since 1990.
