
Anna Radziejewska, mezzo-soprano
Born 1971 in Warsaw. She studied at the Musikakademie Fr. Chopin under Hanna Rejmer and then at the Warsaw Conservatory with Jerzy Artysz, gaining her diploma in 1998.
Between 1996 and 2002 Radziejewska was awarded many prizes in international singing competitions: ‘Duszniki Oratorienpreis’ Poland, ‘Maria del Monaco, Marsala 3.Preis’ Italy, ‘Maria Callas, Athen 2.Preis’ Greece amongst others. In 1995 she made her debut at the nationaloper Warschau. Following this, she was engaged at the Bayerischen Staatsoper Munich, Lucerne Opera, Hebbeltheater Berlin, the Paris Opera (in the lead role of „Da gelo a gelo” by Salvatore Sciarrino) amongst many others. She was also invited to perform at many famous music festivals such as the Ludwigsburger Festspiele, Al Bustan-Festival in Beirut, Wiener Festwochen, Theaterforum Braunschweig, Schwetzinger Festspiele. As a member of the Warsaw Chamber Opera she sang in Japan several times.

Anna made her debut at the Salzburger Festspielen in 2008, singing in Salvatore Sciarrino’s Oper „Luci Mie Traditrici”. In 2009 she will participate as a member of the Mannheim Opera in the premiere of Sciarinno’s “Superflumina” and with the opera “Luci Mie Traditrici” celebrate her debut with the Opera of Rome.
